Core system
Invest gold and racial mana, level the forge and pick one of three permanent upgrade cards at every milestone.
Depth of the mode
Disciples II systems are built around a tight prepare–fight–grow loop, and nearly every one got new rules.
0140, 50, 60 or 70 waves. Regular, elite, boss and lore-finale squads. Endless mode opens after the finale.
02The enemy deals damage before the fight, and bosses also slow you. Immunities, wards and protections are honored.
03Spells are cast without leaving the city. 32 effects reworked, all 28 summoning scrolls fixed.
04The spell shop sells magic of other races, the camp sells fighters. Stock changes every run and every wave.
05After the hero falls, the guardian holds one wave, then the final boss arrives. The garrison grows with your record.
06Gold, mana, potions, scrolls and books. Your best result is posted to the global table automatically.
07Sharpens a specific piece of equipment up to +10. Its original effect stays intact while recognized positive stats grow with every rank.
08Combines two items of one group into an equippable fusion. It occupies one slot and grants both source effects.
Capital development
Some buildings form upgrade chains. Most cost gold plus your race's mana; shops and the Fusion Portal cost gold only.

Current version
0.5.8 adds the Power Forge and Fusion Portal, makes the late game fairer, early loot calmer and capital defense more reliable.

The Power Forge advances a selected item from +1 to +10. Cost scales with its rank and value and is paid in gold plus your race's mana.

The Portal consumes two compatible items and creates a fusion with both effects. The fee is 15% of their combined value, with a 50-gold minimum.

Enemy strength no longer resets after the final boss. The first endless squad continues scaling from the last campaign wave.

Banners, relics, boots and other equipment unlock by quality and value as waves advance, so top-tier gear no longer drops at the start.

Capital defenders regenerate by the same rules as the hero squad. The Infirmary heals reserves, while Defend now cuts the complete final hit by exactly 50%.

The Elixir of Ascension no longer vanishes on a dead target, permanent bonuses cannot duplicate, and the Impossible finale is reduced to roughly 40,000 strength.

Atmosphere

Quick start
The mode installs on top of Slasher MNS 2.4 or the Norwegian Salmon mod 1.44. The mod changes game files — make a SEPARATE copy of the game folder for it.
One launcher serves both branches — SEMGA 1.44 (PvE) and Slasher MNS (PvP). Run it and point it at each branch's folder: it downloads the mod, verifies files and keeps the game updated.
Extract the archive into the folder with Discipl2.exe, replacing files. Back up your game folder before the first install. Updates never touch saves or your rating.
You need the base game installed. Install the client, copy the folder, and install Capital Defense onto the copy.
